Weekend in Review

Last night a few of us hit up River City Extreme a new bowling Alley in Monticello. We attempted the moonlight bowling- which was actually pretty fun...the entire time you bowl, depending on what color your pins are you can win money! Below area few crazy photos from the night, everyone did well except for Jeff.....must be his lanky arms getting in the way!

Yesterday afternoon Justin and I thought we'd try out the nice weather and head out for some Elk River fishing. We stopped at the Mississippi River and also Lake Orno. It was nice to be outside, with a cool breeze soaking up some sun- we stayed out fishing for about 2 and a half hours...all we caught was a single Bullhead....

I got bored real fast!

I almost forgot, in addition to the Bullhead- Justin also caught the dock!

I pulled out my camera just in time for actual hard evidence that he messes up fishing too- since I ALWAYS get the third degree when I end up in a tree, caught to a log, my line in knots or my hook just happens to "tap" him when I'm attempting a cast!

Friday evening we headed to Maple Grove to celebrate my dear friend Brittney's engagement to her new husband-to-be, Jason. Congrats you two crazy kids- welcome to the dark side! :) I'd post more pictures from the night but Brittney has not sent them to me yet....ah-hem. Too distracted by the bling on her left hand and all the wedding planning!

So despite chasing after two dogs all day long, we're still able to manage some fun here and there. I want to give a special shout out to all my friends who say I just don't blog enough and love visiting our website....personally, I just think they are really bored at work - but hey, I appreciate the compliments!

Tomorrow I officially begin the dreaded journey to completing my Master's Degree....I'm taking two elective courses and getting them out of the way before the actual program starts.... they are "crash courses" in a way....through Saint Thomas University I will fulfill 2 credits in three days. I'll have class from 8am until 6pm in the evening....goody, can't wait!
Hope you all had a great weekend!
