Just Say No To Seeds

I feel like the absolute worst mother ever...Our softball team has been dying to see Max and so we finally caved in last night and brought him to our game (He even cheered us on to a victory!). However, amongst all the cheering he did, he must have inhaled 4 bags of leftover sunflower seeds from the ground! This morning we woke up to a kennel full of coughed up sunflower seeds (to put it nicely). However, nothing compared to what I faced when I came home from work. As I entered my house after a lovely first day back teaching I could smell something really stinky, but didn't really pin it on Max because it didn't smell of urine or feces....BOY WAS I WRONG! I walked into Max's room and there he sat looking at me with the saddest eyes ever COVERED in poop and puke! The stench was like nothing I had ever experienced before. Poor Max just sat there, surrounded by a huge mess that not only covered him and the bottom of his kennel, but the wall, carpet and every square inch of his kennel! I'm not one for a weak stomach....but as I had my hands full of messy paper towels and toys I didn't even bother to clean- I started gagging from the odor. Unfortunately I myself didn't make it to the bathroom in time and joined in on the "Puke-Party" all over the carpet! Needless to say, Max is all cleaned up and after some cuddling and loving his ego has healed, he's already back to his mischievous puppy ways!.....
