We Have A Graduate!

Last night Max passed his Puppy-Preschool test as he aced everything on it! He is now a graduate! .....he successfully accomplished a 30 second down stay (laying down on command and staying as Justin walked away) and a 30 second sit-stay! He also showed off his perfect walking skills as the instructor prompted him to walk fast, slow and halt directly on command! ....such a smart little guy! With pre-school under his belt, he will begin puppy kindergarten in October.

Good Boy Max!

Last Wednesday was my first day of back to school. My husband proudly snapped this photo as I was walking out the door. Notice the giant cup of coffee in my hand. I really required the java more so on Thursday morning. Class went well- however our very first professor is somewhat notorious for being super hard....so it should be interesting. After a week of officially starting my grad program I can say that it absolutely sucks coming home from a long day of work and thinking about how I have to do homework. I never missed those days once I graduated from Saint Cloud State....and now they are back!

In other exciting news- Justin and I finally got bikes! We've been wanting them all summer, but heard that the good deals came in August/September when the 2009's come out and they try to get rid of the 0-8's.....

Tonight we went on a 7mile ride and realized it was not nearly long enough. It took just under 30minutes. So Thursday we're going to challenge ourselves again and tackle a 10 miler. If you are a bike person.....Mine is a GT 2008 and Justin bought a 2009 Fuji.

(That still means nothing to me) I just wanted something with two wheels and pedals....oh and these extra nice grips that the salesman talked me into buying extra! :)

Well, it's been a busy week- but I hope to continue to keep you updated! Justin even mentioned he wanted to blog sometime soon. My take is that he needs the "Journaling-therapy" to get his aggressions out about the Vikings losing to the Packers last night! Have a good Wednesday everyone!
