Well, tomorrow is the day!.....the day that I finally find out about my knee surgery. I got SO antsy today that I called my surgeons office to see if he was working the week of Christmas, and so far I am in luck! He will be in Monday and Tuesday of that week! So hopefully my plan to have surgery right before Christmas and take my full two-week break to recover will work! Below is a photo of a little change we made in our bedroom to help me pass the time when I'm laying flat on my butt post-knee removal! :)
Before
After:

So 40 inches later, I now have a nice television mounted in my
room to enjoy the best chick-flicks ever!...while on drugs!
Does not get any better than that! :)
Last night I posted that my friend Beth and I were going to visit our friend Kristine who is on bed rest with her twin boys who are due in February. Well unfortunately after I posted that entry she was actually airlifted to Abbott Northwestern down in the cities (very early this morning) because she started going into labor. So Beth and I headed down to the hospital tonight. I am so glad we did! Kristine, her husband Adam and the babies are doing fine....she will just have to remain in the hospital until the babies are ready to be delivered. It was so nice to see her and Adam interact and hear how they are supporting one another- they will undoubtedly be great parents! I cannot wait to meet her little guys.
In other news this evening, Max graduated from Puppy Kindergarten this evening! He has successfully completed pre-school and now is a Kindergarten grad! I think we're done with the basic training.....now it's just up to us to carry his obedience into the home!
Well, I think that is it (and definitely enough action) for one evening! Have a great Wednesday everyone! Oof-Ta this week is going by quickly!
