With my winter break officially completed, I was able to finally enjoy parts of it these last few days as my knee allowed me. Below are some snapshots from the last few days- but first a shout out to my bro who turns 27 today!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAD!
We celebrated last night with a family dinner at Muffeletta's, a very delicious fancy restaurant off of Como Avenue down in the cities.

Almost Lost The Cake In This Shot...

Friday evening we headed out to Angela and Jeremy's in Belle Plaine to Fondue....we had every, and any kind of meat possible. The peanut butter and chocolate fondue dessert was my most favorite though!

Happy New Year, 2009!
To bring in the New Year, we always head to Justin's aunt and uncle's home with the rest of the family. It's a time where we celebrate with PLENTY of food, drink and games. THANK YOU to Aunt Judi and Uncle Mike for hosting the celebration EVERY single year!

Update on the knee....It's been feeling alright as of lately. Just some minor aches and pains along the way. Nights are still the worst part as I lay awake and all I can think about is the pain and not being able to get comfortable! With my body working over time to heal, I still get tuckered out really easily which is something I'm not used to. We'll see how the work week goes, but I'll probably be taking it slow....I have not been using my crutches the past few days, and yes mom and dad, that exploded in my face! I woke up with quite a bit of pain this morning and needless to say, I'm back to crutching around. (So Annoying!)
Well today is filled with cleaning, laundry, and of course the VIKINGS game!
Happy Sunday everyone!
