Welcome back to the Arctic Freeze folks!
I know that I live in Minnesota, so really I
should not be complaining....but I am
darn sick of this cold! I daydream of warm sunny weather.
Even though there are frigid temperatures outside, it has not
slowed us down one bit.

Friday night my sister Tiffany came to spend the night with us.
She even cooked us dinner! It was very delicious...
I'm not sure what to call it, but it was like a
Fruity-Hawaiian-Chicken-Surprise!

You all remember this post which prompted me to start working harder on my over competitive attitude...
Well for some reason we thought it would be a good
idea to have a three-way game of Monopoly.
I am very proud to report that the first game I
DOMINATED! I won and smothered Justin and Tiffany
in 45 minutes flat! The second game however, I came
up in second place after Tiff. I'm still proud of
both games though because we kept the
"wins" in the Kahler-Family!
Justin was very disappointed and now refuses to ever
play Monopoly again!

Friday I had a really fun day at work.
I was able to go ice fishing for the first time in my life
along with ten 5th graders from Pinewood! Each school in our district
brought along a handful of students to experience the adventures
in ice fishing!
*The students really only ice fished for about 20-30 minutes
before they got bored, gave up and found sliding all
over the ice much more entertaining. However, there
were a few students who were dedicated fishermen...
This student below was hoping to at least see a fish since
she was not catching any!
So my last few days have consisted of playing in the cold
and staying in from the cold. I hope it turns sunny and
warm sooner rather than later.
This upcoming week should fly right by...
Tuesday & Thursday we have conferences until
the late hours and on Wednesday I have class. Three late
nights = tired me. Not to mention I've had to start
Physical Therapy (For real this time.) So I'll be doing that
late Monday and Friday!......so five late nights = grumpy Nicole.
Good for Justin, that he won't be here to see me tired and grumpy.
He leaves for his guy's road trip this week.
Him and 4 other guys from Roseville are traveling to Canada
(and I'm not sure where else, it's better that I don't know details.)
to follow the MN WILD and catch a few games.
So it's me and the dogs this week!
I hope that I survive. seriously. I have my doubts.

I love your Monopoly updates, especially the pictures of the loser's lack of money and property. It is always much more fun to win!
