Hello World!....I am a baby______!

Yesterday our little peanut cooperated! Although she really enjoys mooning us and wiggling around, our doctor was able to tell that we are indeed having a baby girl! (So weird that I knew it this entire time!!) We could not be happier!! She is going to be a little cutie dressed in all pink....and purple!! She weighed in at 14 oz. and is as healthy as can be. Our doctor was very pleased with how she is developing. He measured all of her major organs, we even saw her little ears, fingers and toes! She has a gigantic head (takes after her father...and a huge "OUCH" for me!) As of right now, she also has some big feet! ....not quite sure where that comes from. She enjoys sleeping in what the doctor referred to as the, "jockey position" meaning she was curled in a ball with her rump straight in the air! While the doctor was measuring and checking everything out we even got to see her yawn! The Doc snapped a quick photo which is the second picture above.

We really didn't mean to keep you all waiting. Although our appointment was yesterday morning, we had the doctor write down the sex and put it in an envelope so we could open it up at home in private. That way we could let out our screams, "I-told-you-so's," and excitement without being silently judged. Justin is now starting what he calls, "The Mental Preparation Phase" into raising a daughter. He claims he has no clue what to do with girls. (should I be offended?!) Watch out world, there is going to be a little Johnston-Girl on the loose in a few months!
