The BEST part of the game for me was the fact that I literally called Brett's interception pass at the end of the game. Two seconds before he threw it, I whispered to Jarod, "What if his pass gets intercepted?!" Jarod replied that I shouldn't say those words out loud unless I want an entire village after me....than WHAM-O!....Interception. I laughed. Because it is funny. I've never seen such utter disappointment in one room. (Thus Jeff's photo up above!) Justin still claims (24 hours later) That he will never watch the Viking's again. (uh-huh.)

In other news, we are very excited to report that we have found a daycare and fallen in LOVE with Laura's Lit'l Buds. We interviewed her about 2 months ago, but at that point she was unsure of whether or not she would have an opening this fall. (Due to the amount of infants her license will allow her care for at one time.) She called tonight with the good news of YES, she is ready for us! We think her home will be the perfect fit come that unfortunate time where I must return to work. Laura's home is within a half a mile from ours here in Elk River, so nice and convenient. She has an early childhood and elementary school background as well as teaching youth ministries. We knew she was the right fit for us as she talked about her program. Besides the obvious things you want in a daycare, Laura's provides a lot of music, dance, art, hands-on learning and a strong emphasis on social skills!! We hope it will be the right fit and are ecstatic that she has an opening for us!
