As we entered a long holiday weekend- Hannah was able to start if off by meeting her Great Aunt Marilyn who flew in from Arizona. We were able to have dinner with her and cannot wait until she stops by Elk River on Monday night for more time with us!
On Saturday morning we headed straight up to Garrison, Minnesota to spend time at the Johnston Family cabin. We were greeted with a full fridge...
And a scorching 90+ degree day....
A hot day only means one thing: NAKED BABY!
Justin and I were able to enjoy the sun on the Johnston's new boat. We toured the lake with Sam and his girlfriend, Sam. (a.k.a. Sam squared.) Justin enjoyed playing "Captain" of the boat, as he takes great pride in Smith Lake.
However, he was so busy playing Captain that he did not realize the boat was running out of gas. (Great Captain, huh?!)
One of the best parts about being up north with the Johnstons is all the great food. Look at all the worker bees getting ready for dinner!
Tomorrow is the 4th, and hopefully the sun will be shining! Have a safe holiday everyone!
