What a weekend!...
Justin and I continued the tradition of Halloween softball tournaments. (It is so much more fun when you are not pregnant!) We were invited to play with a former archrival team. (Yes Kerby and JP- we played with Moonrock....) We set our pride aside and agreed....Unfortunately we did not get to pick our team costumes...and someone came up with the idea to be Barbies and Kens. (Again, I must repeat that we had NO input.) I was Malibu Barbie and Justin was Cowboy Ken...I mean, duh, you can obviously tell who we are by the photo below.

Last year we were a team of old folks...

The year before that, we were superheros...

And way back in 2006 we were residents of Big Lake.....just kidding.

It was nice to get away and bond with Justin on the field again. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Johnston for spoiling Hannah while we were away! They brought her the cutest pumpkin bag filled with all sorts of baby-appropriate-Halloween-Treats!
Today we dressed Hannah up for her first Halloween...

Stuck this sign on her Bumbo...

...Set her on doorsteps...and we hid in the bushes. (Gosh, that sounds so cruel!)

(Meghan, Hannah looks as big as you in this photo!!)

We stopped at Uncle Tom's to see all the boys...they did not have any treats :(

We missed Jarod, so we sat Hannah in his "sitting-spot."

Jeff tried to make her smile...

...but instead, he made her cry....
(Best photo ever.)

Then off to her other Grandparents...

...And finally back home. She may not be old enough to eat the actual treat, but she sure is content sucking on the wrapper!

It was a very busy first Halloween! Hannah made it through the whole day with only one 45 minute nap....We had a ton of fun and cannot wait until next years!
Happy Halloween to you!

Hey - you guys look like my neighbors who have the huge unicorn statue in his front yard ;)
Hannah is adorable (dah) and I love that she took a picture with my pumpkin!
L.O.V.E. that you set your kid on the steps and hid in the bushes . . . classic!!
I would have loved to see that cow sitting on my doorstep - how cute!!
And, just to let you know, pretty sure Malibu Barbie did not wear a turtleneck. I think it was a bikini top.
Keeping the Halloween tradition alive! Justin is jealous. I'm sure it's only because he would've loved to dress up as Ken. I still think, though, that nothing beats old people. That was one of my all time favorite softball games/tournaments. I can't believe it was just one year ago...feels longer!
