Tonight was another gorgeous evening in good ole Elk Riverville. So we decided to take advantage, pack up and head to the library for more books. Justin really wanted to go this time so that he could find books for Hannah. (Apparently he was disapointed in my last selection- Anne, "Mom Pie" was not good...)
As always, I question who got more out of our adventure....Justin...or Hannah....
He squealed over old favorites like, "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and a bunch of very very old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle books. (Which I thankfully convinced him out of). The library was a success- Hannah has another huge stack of good reads!
In other "developmental news" Hannah has progressed out of pureed level one solids and on to level two solids. All that this jibberish means is that she is ready for "chunkier" and "more thick" foods. So why not start with spaghetti! We jazzed it up a little with zuchinni and this kid was in heaven. (Note the bib that she is wearing. This meal is dedicated to Aunt Tiffany.) I actually texted Tiff tonight to let her know that Hannah was about to eat her Aunt's absolute favorite meal for the first time and Tiff's response was:
"Make sure to mention my name, so she begins to associate her aunt with spaghetti."
Wow.
Well that is all for tonight folks. I am going to go cuddle in bed with a cold beer and watch me some Grey's Anatomy.
Peace Out.
