Most importantly- I would like to announce that we survived! .....Hannah's first cold that is.
She got the little bug that has been going around. Icky runny nose, cough, sneezes and a grumpy little person! I have become a professional at that little-bulb-nose-sucker-outer-thing. I like to believe that she has actually come to appreciate the tool! So we have had early-to-bed nights and the electronic mister running constantly. It has all helped. She has almost tackled her first cold.
So this past gorgeous weekend where shorts and t-shirts can be worn comfortably, we decided to make a quick run (in between naps of course...)to the pumpkin patch. We have a vegetable farm right down the road from us and it is where we always pick our pumpkins. If the orchard that we visited last weekend was not so crazy-busy, we would probably get our pumpkins there. However, this allows us two family outings- so why argue.
A big pumpkin for "Mommy and Daddy" and a small pumpkin for Hannah!
We were thankful that the weather was so nice so that we could take Hannah outside as she continues to get healthy.
Friday night Justin and I were able to go out and have some fun. We went to ACME Comedy Club with a bunch of my coworkers. Man I love that place. There was a good comedian there Friday night so our sides were hurting by the time we left. After being home with a sick baby- I needed those laughs! Saturday night Justin headed to Gasthofs with some of his coworkers- so Hannah and I had ladies night. Filled with pureed carrots, greenbeans, bubble baths and baby massages! It was lovely.
Sunday I was able to spend some girl-time with my preggo-friend Brittney (who looks fabuous). Then we headed back down to Roseville to see Grandma and Grandpa Johnston! A busy weekend - but that is how we like them! Have a good week everybody!
