Today Grandma Kahler invited Hannah and I to meet her at the one and only great Mall of America. Grandma wanted to take Hannah shopping at the American Girl Store so that Hannah could pick out her very own doll.

I packed along my camera only to pull it out at a perfect picture moment to find that my blasted memory card was in my computer at home!! Grrr. Hannah loved all the dolls. She was hugging (drooling) on all of them! But eventually she settled on a cute one that looks just like her. After a little shopping we lunched at the Rainforest Cafe.

Let me tell you, this is the place for kids. Hannah was in "stimulation heaven." She loved the bright colored fish, the waterfalls, the lights and colors and all the animals making different sounds. I think it's time to take this kid to the zoo! Even though we skipped both naps, Hannah had a great time and was so good that she even let mommy shop a little after lunch. On a side note. I was very proud of myself for venturing down to the MOA all by myself. If you know me, you know that I get lost very easily. Not only did I find the mall- but more importantly I remembered where I parked! (I texted myself the lot I was in.) hehe.
It was a fun day followed up by a not-so-fun evening due to Hannah napping for a total of 45 minutes today. Oops.
