I think that it has started. And by "it" I am referring to tantrums. Full red-faced-screaming-throw-ourself-on-the-ground-tantrums. They only last a few seconds- but they are here. How do we deal? We tell her, "That's not how you act" and then we walk away, and immediately after she stops, we give her attention. However, now we have this whole new piece to the equation...how do you "timeout" an 18 month-old? Will she really sit in one place for one minute?....a whole new challenge to parenting has started.
