Hannah's Uncle Tommy was missing his girl the other day and so he came up for a visit...he spoiled her with books, the park, and even did the bedtime routine with her...

Ryan and Allison's Big Day

In the most random size and order.....here are some photos from this past weekend's BEAUTIFUL wedding. Justin's cousin was married in an outdoor ceremony in Orono and it was gorgeous. Hannah was the flower girl and her role was to walk with me...however little miss independent sprinted down the aisle all by herself!

It was a gorgeous evening and the perfect day for Ryan and Allison! Congratulations you two!

Rehearsal Dinner- Wedding of the Year

Introducing Hannah: The Flower Girl.

This weekend, Hannah has a very important role. Flower Girl is Justin's cousin's wedding. She took her responsibilities very seriously last night during the rehearsal. She didn't even want her Mama walking with her! (We will see if she goes alone on Saturday!)

After the practice run- we headed out to Canterbury Park for the Groom's Dinner. With Justin's family's ties to Canterbury, we were treated V.I.P. style! It was an awesome experience and we were thankful to Uncle Mike and Aunt Judi for the experience! Hannah keeps telling her daddy that she wants a horse now! Ha!

Then we got to view the race from the winners circle!! We were crazy close to the race, it was super exciting!

It was a super fun night and we cannot wait for the wedding tomorrow. Ryan and Allison make a wonderfully fantastic couple and the wedding will surely be gorgeous! Cannot wait!

Our 4th of July on Smith Lake

We love the Johnston cabin up on Smith Lake in Garrison, Minnesota. The entire family is up there and there is so much fun to be had. This year was especially fun for us because Hannah is at such a fun age where she can participate in so much of what we do. Hannah was spoiled and had a great time...

With the HOT weather, almost everyone was in the lake.

Uncle Tommy

This is just a preview of what is to come in photos.... Basically, it's Hannah loving her "Uncle Tommy." In this video, she is digging in her car seat for sand and dirt and giving it to him. She was basically inseparable from "Uncle Tommy" all week. (Not that he minded at all...he loved it.)

Justin's twin brother, Thomas came for a visit last night....with him came a few special Elmo gifts. When you walk in our doors with Elmos, you are instantly Hannah's best friend. The two of them got to hang out for a bit before us adults headed out for dinner. When we told Hannah that his name was "Uncle Tom" she changed his name to her own liking and now calls him "Tommy." It's pretty cute. By the way, fun fact for your day:....did you ever know that Elmo's voice comes from THIS guy?!?

Merry New Year!

Snow, fish, lederhosen, and a living room picnic.

As we do every year, we brought in the new year with the Johnston family. However, this was the first year EVER that we actually left before the ball dropped. It was snowing like crazy and the roads were turning ugly very quickly. But...we still managed to have fun...

The family stuffed Hannah in a true authentic German lederhosen outfit. It was brought back from Germany by Justin's cousin, Ryan and his fiance Allie. Speaking of those two love-birds...they asked Hannah to be their flower girl in their August wedding! She accepted and is very honored! ...but back to the lederhosen...

Justin and I both had today off of work and so we spent the day hanging out as a family and gaining two more little "family members." We got Hannah her very first fish.

The idea came because Hannah is OBSESSED with Elmo. And Elmo has a fish named Dorthy that he talks to...so we thought Hannah needed a "Dorthy." Plus it is teaching her some responsibility. She feeds them and turns off their light before she goes to bed. It's cute...she says, "Nigh, nigh, fisheeeez."

Other than that...we had our annual new years living room picnic...

We cracked open some great new year's fortunes...especially for the events that we have cookin up this year!

Hannah went crazy after dinner, running around the house screaming like a complete lunatic. I think that it is foreshadowing for the crazy year we have ahead as she enters her twos.

...We wish you all a wonderful new year. My resolution?....Taking more photos of sweet Hannah and actually documenting them on the blog....
