Roses & Hockey Pucks

Greetings on this sunny Monday afternoon!
I love having a day off or work....Happy President's Day!
*
I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day.
Mine started off nicely with a surprise breakfast in bed.
Notice below that Justin even made my hash browns
into the shape of a heart. How romantic! hehe.
*
To celebrate this heart-holiday that Justin is convinced is a hoax,
we decided to forfeit a fancy candlelit
dinner for hot dogs and popcorn at the
all too classy Xcel center cheering on the Minnesota Wild.
I didn't receive a card or flowers on this
romantic day because Justin
keeps claiming that the WILD tickets were
MY Valentine's Day gift. Hmm.....
....My gift or His gift?
(I'm still trying to figure that one out.)

Even though is was a pretty terrible game, we managed to
have some fun and we did sit in pretty awesome seats!
After the game we met up with some friends and ran into the
world's smallest mug of beer!

Since schools are off of work today, it is only appropriate
that some of us teachers celebrated the day off with a Sunday
night dinner in uptown!

Our friend Chad hosted us- we dined at Chino Latino, and than
headed back to his place where we were going to play games,
but instead were distracted by his dog's funny tricks.
See the video below:

Today however is not as fun as my past weekend,
it is filled with errands, appointments and cleaning.
I even got a little ambitious and decided to make a
pot-roast for dinner!
I hope you had a wonderful President's Day
even if you were not spoiled and had to work,
Have a fantastic week.
