Missing Our Boys...

Yesterday Justin and I were taking a stroll through the beautiful town of Sedona when we noticed a group of people all huddled around a pillar "oohing and ahhing" something. When we approached the crowd we noticed that they were all excited about a Vizsla dog named Dino. There tied to the pillar and totally schmoozing over the people was this look-a-like Max dog. I sat there petting him (and perhaps kissing him), all the while really missing Max and Riley.
Welle, hows the new dog?
Other than missing our pups (I had a dream about them last night...totally pathetic, I'm aware.) We are having a lot of fun and wondering how vacation always seems to go so darn fast!
On Tuesday we went for a hike down the grand canyon and back up again. It was quite the challenge and I totally get why people ride mules instead of footing it. I can still "feel the burn!" However it didn't stop us from trying a new hike the very next day. I tried to find every rock that jutted out into the canyon...I would stand on them and make Justin take pictures of me to show how brave I was! :) However, approximately 7 people die each year trying to be "brave" and end up falling in to the canyon. Hmmm. Justin stayed as far away from the rim as possible since he is scared of heights.
Yesterday we headed to Sedona to shop, do some more hiking and we ended up taking a really neat off-road jeep tour into the red rock. We got bounced around quite a bit.
Now we're back in Scottsdale where we'll take in some more sun by the pool and soak in this last day of vacation before we head back on Saturday....

Sounds like you're having a great time! lots of cool experiences! My spring break experiences were 2 days of rain followed by an full-out f'in blizzard! That's what I get for going 4 1/2 hours NORTH!

WOW!!!! WHAT A FUN TRIP!!! I LOVE the PINK JEEP!!! I want one. And the whole puppy deal...yikes, I feel like I was on "maternity leave" all week--the pup is just like another child. Cute, but a whole lot of work.
