At the start to each new year, I always daydream about someone handing me a "manual" that lists everything that will happen throughout that particular school year. If I knew how many of my students would move to another district, how many new students will join my caseload, what some of my biggest hurdles will be throughout the year...and so on- I could totally better prepare myself! I guess there is something "fun" about jumping straight into each new day never knowing what will happen! An extra challenge that I am going to take on this year is an intern! I'm really exited- she is a student from Saint Cloud State just beginning her social work major. It's not a full-time intern so I thought this would be a great teaching opportunity for me. Other than that- this fall will be very busy as I finish up my Master's degree with high hopes of graduating in January!
