A First In Four Months.

Today I was all alone. Completely alone in my house from 7am until 11am. As I sat clueless at my kitchen table staring at the wall for ten straight minutes wondering what to do with myself I suddenly realized that I have not been alone in my house for 4 months. I felt freedom. So I made eggs for breakfast, ate them quietly at the kitchen table instead of on the floor next to an exersaucer. My coffee mug sat on top of the table instead of on the latest book I've been reading to Hannah- usually Goodnight Moon. Then I showered. It was glorious. I showered, and yes...I even shaved my legs. I also conditioned my hair! It was amazing. I took my dear sweet time soaking up every last drop of hot water without peaking out the shower curtain every 2 minutes to make sure Hannah was okay and without rushing because I felt guilty that Hannah was all alone. I proceeded to blow dry my hair and even straighten it. I feel like a whole new woman. I could get used to these four hour breaks I will be receiving every Tuesday morning while Hannah gets accustomed to daycare. After having a little "me time" I finally got out my babyfood maker and made some homemade "num-num" for Hannah. Her favorite: Apples, Bananas and Strawberries. (oh-my!)

This thing is amazing. You steam and puree all in one- super easy to use and even easier to clean up. I love it.

By the time 11am rolled around I was SO ready to go and get my little girl. She watched me finish making her food while she practiced using a spoon!

When Justin got home tonight, she was showing off her skills to him until he took it away from her- and boy did he get "the glare."
