I survived.
I arrived at school over an hour early so that I could just sit in my office without someone walking in on me. However, as I entered my one-and-only melt-down phase of the day (I was very proud of myself!) One of my principals walked in with a personal Caribou delivery. (Great timing!) It was not at all as awkward as it sounds, as I do work very closely with him. We had some good laughs and I promised him I would pull it together before our 8:00 meeting. I was so incredibly busy that my work day actually flew right on by.
It helped that I work with some pretty fantastic students and friends. My office was littered with banners, cards, and posters welcoming me back to work. I was also given many treats and cards from great friends, it really did help a lot...especially the entire bag of Twix candybars somebody left me....
:)
THANK YOU to everyone for the hugs, notes, cheers, food and "welcome backs."
Now moving on to the number one lady in my life who had a spectacular day at daycare...and even more fun with our Christmas lights...

Cool collage...I love the rounded corners.
I'm glad it all went well. I was thinking of you!
