Dirty Beach Bum

Today Hannah and I were on house-arrest. Well...not really, but we sure felt like it. My vehicle got lazy in the middle of highway 10 and shut down on me, so the good ole Altima is currently on a time-out in the repair shop. So Hannah and I were restricted from going on any sort of shopping or errand trip. (Justin was happy. We were bored.) Hannah and I run at least one errand a day... Just to break up the monotony of being home. But today, we had to get creative. So we packed up the Burley, jumped on the bike and had our very first beach outing. Success.

For the first 5 minutes she struggled with all her might to keep every speck of sand off her body, towel and toys. She eventually gave up and dug right into the sand and my clean little lady just couldn't get enough of it. She would have stayed there all day- but this Mama looks forward to naptime and it was time for Mama to have a break. :)....did I mentioned, we biked to the beach. (extra credit points.)

I am afraid that I created a monster.

When Justin got home, he planted a plant-of-some-sorts and Hannah got into a dirt pile. (That is Daddy-Supervision at its finest.) After observing her eating, throwing and playing in the dirt I decided to grab my camera.

I had Hannah all cleaned up and pretty for our BBQ with Grandma and Grandpa Johnston, but now she was a dirty girl who needed cleaning...quick. So- Daddy to the rescue: he stripped her naked and dunked her in the kiddie pool.
