"This is Way Fun..."

Our title is a quote from our Aunt Barb, who was referring to Saturday's events...however I think it's entirely appropriate for the last few days!.....

The last few days in a nutshell: ........

SCHOOL's OUT!

You've never really seen a bunch of teachers SO incredibly happy. As our entire staff gathered on the sidewalks to wave off the buses, I got a giddy feeling about summer finally arriving! I swear in the pictures below, the teachers are not clapping..... :)

Friday night was a bittersweet day as one of my closest friends from Roseville is moving to New York city... we thought we would give her an appropriate farewell party! I already miss you Jen! I wish you nothing but the best in New York! Don't forget about us crazy Minnesotans!

Saturday Justin and I were able to spend some good quality time with the Johnston Family as we checked out the new racetrack in Forest Lake.

There was some serious betting....

Some serious eating....

(Those are not doughnuts, they are onion rings!)

And most importantly, some serious drinking!

It was such a fun day that got a little more fun when we were asked by the kind lady pictured above if we would like to go and sit in the announcer's box for a race! We got to actually watch the guy announce live! I recoded a small piece of how cool it was to see!
