Sorry for my Absence!

I didn't forget about you all....It's just that last weekend we had our carpets cleaned in the basement and a simple carpet cleaning turned into rearranging our entire house!....

So our upstairs spare bedroom/dog room is now an office and our downstairs area that housed the computer is now a little more "homey." Since we changed the location of our computer- Justin had to hook up wireless Internet in the upstairs bedroom, and yes, that took about a week for him to accomplish! But, we're back in business! Below our some photos of the process, but everything is back in place and we like the way it all looks....

Yesterday I had class.....one word, BLAH!

However, I got to look forward to my good friend, Kristine's baby shower that took place after class. Kristine is the speech pathologist at my school and she is due with twin boys mid February! So it's been fun watching her little guys grow and hearing all the "fun" stories about being pregnant. I cannot wait to meet her little ones!

Last night, Thomas, Jeff and Tiff came up to Elk River. We laid low, had some dinner out and than hit up some "Towney" bars here in Elk River. We basically just sat around, drank a whole lot, talked and .....oh, played lots and lots of pull tabs....

One might say, "Wow, that is sure a lot of pull-tabs." Thomas, Justin, Jeff and I were on a roll!! We played at two separate bars and combined we won $1,700 last night!! We all walked away with quite the load of cash. At our second bar I pulled a $200 and a $100 and then Thomas went and showed me up and pulled two back-to-back $599!!!! So of course, that was reason enough to stay out and celebrate!

It was a really fun evening and we enjoyed hosting some friends....Thanks for coming guys!

I have been so lucky lately!....I saw Ang two weekends in a row!.....Last weekend Justin and I met up with Angela and her hubby Jeremy for dinner and some fine entertainment at the comedy club....

Well, that is all I have for you folks! Last week was pretty crazy and my

two-week-streak-from-(Insert your own word)

is almost over. Wednesday I had class, Thursday I had conferences, yesterday, Saturday I had class again and now this Tuesday we have our last night of conferences....Oooof-Ta! I've been pretty tired, stressed and blah lately so I look forward to our Thanksgiving break!
