This morning I woke up, got ready for work and
still in a state of sleepiness I hit the garage door button.
I half expected to be able to still admire my
hard shoveling work from yesterday, but instead
was greeted by a white driveway.
I grumbled as I got into my car and thought,
"The heck with it!"
I kicked it into reverse and put all of my
shoveling frustrations into the power of my right foot.
I slammed down on the gas hoping the power
of the Altima would ravage right through the new layer
of snow on my driveway.
Thankfully it did- but not without a little
retaliation. I almost got stuck at the end of the
driveway because of those stupid plows
barricading people in!

Today I had a long list of things to do when I got
home from my long crappy week of work,
school and conferences and shoveling was the
one item that I was least looking forward to.
*
However, due to a small act of kindness, I
didn't have to worry about shoveling when I got
home from work. In fact, my driveway was completely
cleared off! My friend and co-worker told her husband
about Justin being out of town and so her husband
packed up his blower in Big Lake and drove to my
house this afternoon and plowed for me!

THANK YOU MARY & RICH!
You guys are the greatest!
