No Broken Bones!

This morning was officially my LAST Saturday morning class EVER!!
This was also (hopefully) my last Saturday afternoon dedicated to any homework....EVER! Justin peeled me away for a little bit because he really wanted me to teach him how to skate. So we bundled up and headed to the rink...he did an awesome job seeing as he has not laced up skates in over 15 years! For me, it's like riding a bike....with really flat wheels...(a.k.a. my skates are in desperate need of a good sharpening!) It was a ton of fun, and Justin is convinced he can now try out for the MN Wild. Once he gets his own pair of skates (these were borrowed) we are going to make an effort to get to the rink more often!

I even attempted a spin! :)

A video of Justin's first time ice-skating in 15+ years!! Listen carefully to what he says in the end of the video right before crashing into me....

As Justin learns to skate, I am determined to learn how to handle a hockey puck. I've always wanted to play hockey, and I want to be a better "hockey player" than Justin...so while he is still working on the fundamentals of skating, I am going to work on stick handling...:) Now, I just need to locate a pink hockey stick! See?!...You're never too old to try something new!
