My Shadow is Pregnant

Lemon-Lime nasty drink.

That is what I had to guzzel down this morning as a very stoic looking nurse stared at me to make sure I drank every last drip. My doctor said he would call me in the next week to let me know if I failed my glucose-tolerance test. Otherwise, no news is good news...My appointment was rather uneventful otherwise. No ultrasound, just heard her little heart beat and he measured my tummy. I am measuring at 28cm which is right on. (Apparently you should measure within 2cm- give or take- of your according week.) Since I am just finishing up week 29, everything is perfect! He did say that the due date will stay the same. (bummer.) However, it is a good thing because apparently he is on vacation in April....but he assured me that he will be back in May!

I titled this blog post as, "My Shadow is Pregnant" for a reason. With all this nice weather the past two weeks I have been able to take really nice long refreshing walks outside after work. The other day as I was walking, I looked over to examine my tall shadow and noticed this HUGE lump on the front side! (Although it should not....).....it totally surprised me! I laughed.
