Well, here we sit at day 5 from my actual due date. Last night Justin and I looked at one another over dinner and came to the realization that it could be very possible that we are in charge of another human being in just one short week. I know what you're thinking, "Duh!"
...but really. I decided that she can stay in my belly because now we need more time to process these new thoughts of parenthood.
This past week has been nothing but chaotic at work as I try to prepare for someone to take over my job until December. With the mass amount of special education referrals flying through the doors, I have been overwhelmed with assessment after assessment. Not to mention the bittersweet emotions of saying goodbye to all of my students! Ahhh....
(Of course, I will also miss my wonderful coworkers that keep me moving and grooving! But they cannot get rid of me this easily, we will see eachother plenty over the summer!)
Two more days of work and then a little rest and relaxation.
