10 Months Old!

Photobucket

(Yes, this is the best photo we got, because this little lady was in a mood.)

Best Moment This Month: Duh, Crawling!!!
What We Miss: When "feedings" were just bottles. Now food is being launched across the kitchen and every meal is an "art project."
Working On: Cruising along furniture while standing.
Holy Cow!: People always told us, "She will hit a point and learn everthing at once." They were serious and absolutely correct! Read the "Milestones" to see what we mean!...
Loves: Walking/standing hanging on to us
Hates: Watermelon! Weird.
Milestones: Crawling, rolling, pulling-up, high-fives, nods yes, shakes head no, waves buh-bye, says "uh-oh!" and we swear that she is trying to say "puppy" and "ball." In one month, this kid has learned so much that it is scary.
Looking Forward To: Warm weather so that she can crawl on the ground outside and explore some more.
Other Stats: We had to drop her crib down, she's still in clothing anywhere from 18 months to 2T. She is down to three bottles and three meals a day, still takes two naps. Goes to bed at 7:15pm and sleeps until 7ish in the morning if we don't wake her for daycare.

On to other news...

As you all know, March brings on a very competitive attitude between Justin and I. The NCAA tournament is in full-swing by now- but I have not forgotten to keep you all updated! Let's first review the rules of the
Johnston NCAA March Madness Process:
1. Research in separate rooms- close laptop and flip over bracket sheet if enemy enters the room.
2. Once bracket has been completed, meet on neutral territory- usually the living room.
3. Hand one another each other's brackets to review.
4. Make fun of each other's picks.
5. Post on refrigerator.
6. Do a dance after each day if you are the leading scorer.

Last year I brought in a couple hundred dollars, thanks to Justin's work league that I won, my Pinewood league and also a small personal bet between Justin and I. He will continuously become frustrated year-after-year as I keep taking him to the cleaners!! So far the score is:

Justin= 20 points
Nicole= 21 points

Hannah has gotten in on the action too! Her number one pick?!....
Kansas!

(Well...maybe her number two pick- she's still deciding.)

We will keep you posted, although it is not looking too good for me....the team I picked to win it all, just lost.

Have a fabulous week everyone!

*Thank you to our dear friend Joe Ricketts for bringing a little bit of Kansas back to Hannah! She loves her shirt- you are always so thoughtful! THANK YOU!*
